Agreement and who we are

These Terms are an agreement between you and Lapin AI, LLC d/b/a PossibNow (“PossibNow”, “we”, “us”), an Illinois limited liability company. They cover the PossibNow newsletter, the website salcarranza.com and Executive Working Sessions. Part A applies to everything. Part B adds terms for the newsletter. Part C adds terms for Executive Working Sessions. If parts conflict, the more specific part controls. By using our website, subscribing to the newsletter or completing onboarding for Executive Working Sessions, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Part A — General

A1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe or buy from us.

A2. Acceptable use

Do not misuse our services. That means no attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to our systems, no scraping or automated bulk copying of our content, no uploading of malicious code, and no use that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights.

A3. Our content

The newsletter, website and training materials are owned by PossibNow or its licensors and protected by copyright. You may use them for your own personal or internal work. You may share short excerpts with attribution and a link to the source. Do not republish, resell or redistribute full issues or materials without our written permission.

A4. Your content

Anything you upload or share with us, such as files, screenshots, links, answers and messages, remains yours. You give us a limited license to use it only to deliver the service you asked for. You confirm that you have the right to share it.

A5. Not legal, financial or professional advice

Our newsletter, website and training are educational and informational. They are not legal advice, and they are not financial, tax or other professional advice. Sal Carranza is a lawyer, but he does not act as your lawyer through PossibNow. No attorney-client relationship is formed by reading our content, subscribing, emailing us or taking part in Executive Working Sessions. Consult a qualified professional about your own situation.

A6. AI output

AI tools can produce output that is wrong, incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for checking AI output before you rely on it or share it.

A7. Third-party tools

We use and recommend third-party services, such as Substack, AI model providers and productivity tools. They are governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them. Any AI subscription you use is purchased separately from the provider.

A8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We make no promise of any specific result.

A9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, PossibNow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you have only used our free services.

A10. Indemnity

If a third party makes a claim against us because of content you shared with us or your breach of these Terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.

A11. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

A12. Changes

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and update the effective date above. Changes apply going forward; the terms in effect when you bought Executive Working Sessions continue to apply to that purchase.

Part B — PossibNow Newsletter

B1. Subscription

The PossibNow newsletter is published on Substack at possibnow.substack.com and is free to subscribe to. Substack's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply to your Substack account and to how issues are delivered.

B2. Paid subscriptions

If we offer paid subscriptions, pricing, renewal and cancellation are shown at checkout and handled through Substack. You can cancel any time and keep access through the paid period.

B3. Unsubscribing

Every issue includes an unsubscribe link. You can also manage your subscription in your Substack account.

B4. Content

Newsletter content is informational only. Part A, including Sections A5 and A6, applies to every issue.

Part C — Executive Working Sessions

Part C covers the Executive Working Sessions training package that PossibNow offers through salcarranza.com. Sal Carranza is your instructor. By continuing through onboarding and paying the deposit, you agree to these Terms.

C1. The package

The package costs $1,500 and includes one hour of prework, two 90-minute one-to-one sessions, 1–2 hours of homework between them, up to 3 months of private Slack guidance and 6 months of access to Trazomo. An AI subscription of your choice is purchased separately.

C2. Payment

  • You pay a $750 deposit during onboarding, after you confirm you are a fit.
  • The remaining $750 balance is charged to your saved payment method 7 days before your first session, or right after you book if the session is sooner than that. By paying the deposit you authorize that charge.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card and bank details never touch our servers.

C3. Workflow #1

You rank three workflows during onboarding. Workflow #1 is what we build now; #2 and #3 are for later learning. If, after review, we cannot do Workflow #1 in this early session, we will reach out about #2, #3 or another option. If you decide not to continue, you will not be charged — we will refund everything you paid: the $750 deposit, plus the $750 balance if it was already charged.

C4. Rescheduling

You can reschedule for free up to 24 hours before a session using the link in your Cal.com confirmation email. A change after that point counts as a no-show. In Sal's words: “My goal is to make you a superstar — an AI-native professional — so I'll work with you to find a time to get it done.”

C5. No-shows

If you miss a session without rescheduling in time, the session is used and is not refunded. We may, at our discretion, offer you one reschedule.

C6. Cancellation and refunds

  • If you cancel before your first session, whether or not the balance has been charged, there is no automatic refund. Email salvador@acumentrail.com so we can talk. We want to understand why you are canceling, and any refund is at our discretion after that conversation.
  • After your first session, there is no refund.
  • If we cancel a session, you can choose to reschedule or receive a full refund of what you paid.
  • If Workflow #1 is not feasible and you decline the alternatives, you receive a full refund of everything you paid, including the balance if it was already charged (see C3).

Refunds go to your original payment method. Cards typically take 5–10 business days; bank (ACH) payments may take longer.

C7. Outcomes and AI

Sal teaches a method and prepares a working example around your work. Results depend on your work and practice, and we make no promise of a specific outcome. AI output can be wrong; you are responsible for checking it before you rely on it. Do not share passwords, API keys, access tokens or data you are not permitted to share.
